Windows 8: How to Edit Start Menu Programs

How to add or remove Windows 8 start menu programs and icons.

Go to the Start menu's list of apps.
Right-click on the icon.
Click Open file location.
The folder containing all the Start menu icons will open.
It is a hidden folder, so the previous steps are an easy way to find it.
Remove any icons using right-click and delete.
Add new program icons by creating a shortcut for the .exe and dragging it into this folder.
