Windows 10: How to Show Hidden Files and Folders

How to show hidden files and folders in the File Explorer for Windows 10.

Open the Start menu.
Click on the pinned File Explorer link; if there is no pinned link, search for File Explorer and open it.
Navigate to the desired location.
Click on the View tab.
In the Show/hide section, check the box for Hidden items.
Hidden files and folders will be displayed along with the regular files and folders.
To hide them again, uncheck the same box.
